KinSeed Ecologies is hiring a youth (ages 15–30) for an 8-week position supporting native plant propagation and ecological restoration. This role helps scale up production of genetically diverse, locally adapted native plants for climate-resilient landscapes.
Duties
- Propagate native plants (seed, cuttings) and perform daily nursery care
- Process and manage wild-collected seed (cleaning, cataloguing)
- Support farmers market booth, website updates, and data entry
- Assist with restoration site maintenance and plant monitoring
Eligibility
This position is funded through Canada Summer Jobs. Applicants must be:
- Between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
