Plant pearly everlasting in sun to part shade. Though it prefers well-drained soils, it can tolerate a wide variety of soil types, even doing well in rocky soils.

Its somewhat vigorous nature means that once established, it can out-compete other plants, act as a bank stabilizer, and can be a good groundcover.
