Seeds are best planted in the fall into a tray or pot and left to grow for a few years. The tiny plants look like little blades of grass and are easily overlooked in the garden. Plants can take 5-7 years to flower. Plant young bulbs at a depth of 1-2 cm and into areas that have moist soils in the spring and dry out in the summer. Camas bulbs are dormant in the summer with no above ground growth.
