Canada goldenrod is a tall, rhizomatous perennial topped with plume-like clusters of bright yellow flowers from late summer into fall, reaching up to 1 m or more in moist meadows and open ground. It spreads readily once established, forming attractive drifts, and its late blooms make it one of the most important nectar sources for bees, butterflies, and other pollinators fuelling up before winter. A great choice for the back of a moist meadow planting, paired with asters for a classic late-season pollinator combination.
